Upcoming Holiday

Independence Day is probably my favorite holiday! As always, we got some shots of the kids in their holiday garb. My nephew had to miss the session with my kids because he was sick, so I did his on another day. This year our church is doing a float for the parade, so we thought that would make a fun backdrop for his pics. Here are a couple:

Where Has the Time Gone??

Somehow two weeks slipped away from me! Tomorrow my little guy will be three weeks old; I can hardly believe it! I did his newborn pictures our first week home, but have not finished processing all of them. I'll share more later, but for now here are some of the first ones I did:
















This is the cocoon I spent a good deal of time making before he was born. I love how it turned out and have already picked up several more colors of yarn so I can make some more! :)

One Week Old!

Introducing...

The newest addition to our family! Born very early this morning, weighing 7 lb., 4 oz., and 20 1/2 inches long. He is such a sweet, easy-going baby. I can't wait to do his newborn portraits, but in the meantime, here is a quick pic taken at the hospital:
